Sebastian pulled away from the hug to stare at Eve. There was no mark on her and no blood stains. He'd had doubts that she wasn't the one when she had replied to him, but his emotions overwhelmed him when he saw her bleed and he wasn't able to think straight.
"Are you okay?" Sebastian asked Eve, and she nodded.
"What happened to you?" She also asked, tracing her fingers along the veins around his eyes.
"Nothing serious," he replied. She moved her hand to his lips to touch his enlarged fangs, but the sharpened sides and tip tore her skin and she flinched.
"They're sharper," she told him and he nodded, licking the blood that dripped onto his lips from her cut.
Eve was about to ask him if he was thirsty when she noticed the blood trail on his chest. Her eyes dropped to his bloody hands.
"There is blood on you..." She looked up, "Did something happen?" She asked.
