By sunset, Sebastian and Eve made their way back to the village on the horse, which trotted slowly. They passed the glass fountain, and Eve could see the ice that was dropping from the water very clearly. To avoid stares, for Eve's sake as the zip of her dress was broken and her back was bare, they had followed the back entry into the village.
They stopped the horse beside the inn, and Sebastian jumped down and helped Eve down as well. He hit the horse twice, and the horse neighed before running back into the forest. Going around, Sebastian knocked on the inn door, and it opened, revealing the owner. His eyes widened when he saw the couple he had hoped wouldn't return after missing for two days.
"M-my Lord? W-welcome back," He greeted hurriedly and moved away from the door when he noticed Sebastian's stern glare when he looked at Eve. They stepped inside and walked up the stairs while he closed and locked the door.
