After Selena finished eating the cookies, she turned off the lamp and laid down in her bunk.

She opened her eyes and looked at the upper bunk. She rolled up the quilt beside her and wrapped herself in a small ball.

The autumn night was cold.

"Why didn't I feel cold when I slept in Jefferson's arms two days ago?" She wondered.

She became delicate with Jefferson by her side. She felt lonely without Jefferson's embrace.

In a daze, Selena seemed to hear Erica come back to the dormitory.
