Selena was not in the mood to reply to Erica, so she ran out of the infirmary.

She was in pain.

Therefore, she didn't care where she was heading to. When she started to get exhausted, she leaned against a white poplar and panted.

Her back was against the trunk; her legs went weak and she squatted down.

With the way that he was forcing her and pestering her, he would only push her further away. 

She had already made it clear that it was impossible for her to be with him, but why did he think that she was lying?

She wanted to appreciate the pleasant times they had.
