Chapter 228 Your Chances Ran Out

Sandy bit her lips tightly and said unwillingly, "What did Selena do wrong? She is definitely not a drug dealer, let alone a murderer! The real bad guys are still out there, and the innocent is locked up with a high fever! What on earth is this?!"

She was so anxious that she was on the verge of breaking down.

If it was just a fever, it wouldn't be too big of a problem.

If Selena was infected with some virus or bacteria, that changed the situation.

If she didn't get treatment on time, she would be long gone before she even got sentenced!

Sandy abruptly stood up from her chair and wanted to rush out of the consultation room, but Lawrence held her back. "Sandy, what are you doing?" He knew that she and Selena were friends, but Sandy was an impulsive person. If she did something outrageous, it would only worsen the situation.

"I'm going to look for Jefferson..." Sandy said, her eyes brimming with tears.

"It's not going to work, Sandy."
