Chapter 237 Tougher Than Jefferson

The wind raged, and sand and dust flew everywhere.

Elvis quickly jumped down from the armed vehicle in his yellow, mud-covered military boots.

"Stay here and wait for me."

"Yes, General Russell."

Elvis waved his hand and glanced at the tile-roofed house not far from there. Then, he kicked the door open and rushed in.

The wooden door itself was very fragile. After being kicked by Elvis, the door fell onto the ground with a bang. He waved his hand in front of his face to get rid of the wood chips in the air before walking in with large strides.

He did not use a flashlight, but instead, he fired a few flares.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

After three shots, the tile house lit up brightly. 

However, in those fleeting seconds of light came the staccato sounds of gunfire.
