Chapter 309 He Owed Her

Freya felt anxious as no one answered her.

"Tell me, whose blood is this?" She couldn't help but ask again, "Someone tell me!"

Lawrence lifted his head, and tears rolled down from his eyes. "It's Selena's. When this man carried her here, she was covered in blood, and there was a bullet in her abdomen."

"Wait, so Selena is..."

She started to panic as she heard Lawrence's words.

Was Selena really dead?

How could it be?

What's more important was that Freya really couldn't imagine how Jefferson would react if he knew that Selena was dead.

When Jefferson was seventeen years old, he lost his parents, and became depressed and dispirited ever since. All these years, he had been trying to investigate the reason behind his parent's deaths. He finally overcame the grief after many years, and seemed to have let go of the past.

She was very clear about how much he loved Selena.

If it wasn't for his utmost love, perhaps she would've never returned to her senses.
