Chapter 313 Not As Good As They Thought

In the ward.

Selena wore an oxygen mask, and various tubes and machines were connected to her body, as the screen showed her latest vitals. Due to the blood loss, her face was as pale as the bed sheet on the bed she was lying on. It made others feel like she was weak and fragile, as if she would leave the world anytime.

Sandy, Lawrence, and Freya remained in the ward, accompanying her in hopes that she would be able to get through the high-risk period safely.

No one cried, but everyone's eyes were red, and no one was willing to leave the room.

Anthony looked at Selena, who laid on the hospital bed, through the glass window of the ward. He used his fingers to caress her face lightly through the window.

This woman... looked so brave, but was actually so fragile.

Who... on earth was she?

He closed up his hands slowly, and clenched his fist, then landed them heavily on the window.

This woman... must have a lot to do with him.
