Over and over again

I'm thrown backwards, my back sliding on the grass, my arms crossed over my body as a weak way to protect myself.

There are bits of dirt stuck to my arms, and I force myself into a sitting position, slowly moving my shoulders.

Lip runs after me, checking to make sure there aren't any serious injuries.

"Are you okay?" he asks, and I nod, rolling my shoulder a bit.

"Yeah, can we go again?" I ask him, slowly getting to my feet. My knee gives out, and I would have faceplanted, had it not been for Lip grabbing the collar of my tunic, and steadied me.

"Would you like a break?" he asked, letting go of me once he saw I could stand on my own.

"No, I barely managed to create a fire wall of protection." I replied, shaking out the pain in my arms.

"To be fair, air magick is pretty powerful against fire. You can even take the oxygen away from your opponent." he said.
