A stalemate

"you are quite rude, young fighter" The leader's face was beginning to turn ugly

"and you are quite the talker, old fighter..." Su made sure to give a remark

"you have just thrown away your lucky chance" and with a glance at his men, he commanded coldly "Kill them!"

"Get behind me!!"

Another round of fierce combat.

A stalemate.

'The Man' had been surrounded with swords at his throat and nape; and he was Su's weakness in this fight.

He had definitely been captured when Su had been heavily invested in fighting and wasn't looking. It probably could not have been avoided; Su was not a god - yet.

"Drop your weapon!"

"no, no..." The Prince weakly pratted. This was no child's play, he knew to give up was to die.

"surrender now or he is gone!" the leader repeated himself, this time with a worthwhile reason why he should.

Su had no other choice than to slowly release his weapon to the ground in defeat.

He looked at the leader calmly with no trace of fear for himself in his eyes, but it was obvious that he was worried about 'The Man'.

"Capture him and kill the Prince!" the leader gave his orders loud and clear

"The Prince...?" Su looked meaningfully at the mysterious 'Man' this time and mentally smacked his own head for being a little dumb to not have figured out a fact so glaring.

Someone hired about four dozens of trained assasins for a single man, of course it had to be someone prominent like the Prince.

Also he wore expensive clothes, had a man following him for protection and had hell-bent hitmen on his trail. He was the Royal Prince.

As the sword was about to strike down the Prince, an arrow came from the distance hitting the striker.

Everyone turned to the direction of the shot at once and saw the royal guards, palace soldiers and three other people in similar clothing rushing towards the scene.

"What luck!" Su exclaimed silently, then his eyes lit up upon sighting Lu Kang amongst the emerging group.

One of the warriors that had been with them since the journey to Mt. Chi and one other trainee were the ones with Lu Kang.

Lu Kang immediately rushed up to Su and cut off the rope on his tied hands before giving him a quick hug.

In minutes, they rounded the assasins up, defeated them and captured their leader.
