Volume 1 Chapter 25: Continue Exploring And A Bunch Of Dead Ends

After seeing the new effects of the skills that level up on my stat I was happy since I only need to level of them to gain more stats, but still I hope that I increase my base stats so that my multiplied stats will be much higher than now.

But I was thinking why did my stat did not increase even a bit since Clone 1 and Clone 2 trained for a bit and since the [Strength Enhancement], [Speed Enhancement], [Vitality Enhancement], and [Magic Enhancement] skills have level up once but clearly its still not enough for my base stats to increase even a bit since not a single point was added.

Carmilla: Now that the [Speed Enhancement] skill have already level up, so let's start exploring the other entrance again

Clone 1: Yes, master

Clone 2: Yes, master

I start looking around at the entrances to pick the one that we will enter in and explore but even after 2 minutes of thinking where to enter but even now I still can't find a entrance that I want to enter. So why not just ask Clone 1 and Clone 2

Carmilla: Is there any entrance you guys wanted to enter?

Clone 1: None, master

Clone 2: Me, me master can I pick a entrance we explore?

Carmilla: Sure since I can't find a entrance that interest me and since Clone 1 doesn't want to pick a entrance so you can pick where we will enter

Clone 2: Yay!

After celebrating Clone 2 start walking around the cave then Clone 2 will stop for a moment to inspect each entrance for a short time and since she don't want to explore that entrance she will move to the next entrance then she will inspect it this happen several time and when she saw a carving on one of the walls she walk pass the entrance since it maybe was where the exit of the cave or the one cave that was already explored so she did stop of inspect those entrance.

After inspecting a few entrance Clone 2 stop on one of the entrance, Carmilla and Clone 1 saw this so both of them walk near to Clone 2 who was standing still and after Carmilla and Clone 1 reach the entrance where Clone 2 was standing. Carmilla spoke to Clone 2.

Carmilla: So is this the entrance you have pick?

Clone 2: Yes, Master

Carmilla: So what are waiting for let's go exploring!

After I said that I start walking towards the entrance Clone 2 have pick, we walk for 5 minutes but it seems we have reach a dead end and unlike the last on that I and Clone 1 have explored this dead end don't seems to have a hidden entrance.

Clone 2: Aww there's nothing here

Clone 2 start leaving but when she notice that Clone 1 and Carmilla was not leaving she turn back.

Clone 2: Master? why are the both of you are not leaving?

Clone 1: Because the first entrance we explored was also a dead end, so when master was about to leave I notice a crack on the wall so we try to break it and when we have torn down the wall a hidden entrance was revealed

Carmilla: Clone 1 was right If not for her I would have miss the hidden entrance so that's why even if there is no hidden entrance here we still decide to look around since there still a chance but it seem that there is really nothing here, what about you Clone 1 have you find a trigger or a clue for a hidden entrance?

Clone 1: Master, I didn't find any hidden trigger or clue for a hidden entrance it seems that this entrance was a dead end

Carmilla: Huh so this entrance was a dud, fine let's go back and lets check another entrance to explore

I turn around and start walking back, after another 5 minutes I mark the entrance ware we just came out but unlike the first one I have mark, I only mark this entrance with a simple line so not to waste time, while Carmilla was carving at the entrance so that they will not explore it again by mistake and wasting time, Clone 2 was walking around and inspecting the other entrance.

After Clone 2 have pick another entrance, the three of them entered the entrance and like the entrance it was also a dead end.

Carmilla: That's was 4 out of 18 entrance and 2 of them end up as a dead end

Clone 2: Master, cheer up there is still a lot other entrances to explore

Clone 1: Yes, master cheer up there still 14 entrance to explore even if half of them are dud there is still the other half that might have something one it, that's why master let's explore the next cave

Carmilla: Yeah you two are right so let's explore the next cave Clone 2 will pick

When Clone 1 and Clone 2 saw that Carmilla was not depress anymore and after hearing what Carmilla said Clone 2 start looking around for the next entrance they will explore.

Clone 2: Master here I'm sure that this entrance will have something inside of it

After that they enter but after 8 minutes of walking they have reach a dead end and there is not even a hidden entrance on it, unlike how I start exploring and enter the entrance with optimistic mood I was now gloomy while walking back and that now 5 out 18 cave explored.

After exiting the cave I make a simple mark on the entrance while waiting for Clone 2 to select a new entrance of a cave to explore. But it seems that Clone 2 did not have the motivation to select a new entrance to explore either since she was just standing to the next entrance we just explored.

Carmilla: Sign I hope there something in here since it's getting bored of getting a bunch of dead end

Clone 2: Yeah

It seems luck was with Carmilla, Clone 1, and Clone 2 this time since they saw a exit and when they leave the long hall they saw a opening and at the middle of it there is 5 snakes sleeping on the ground and it seem that one of the snake was not deeply asleep since when they entered the opening it sense them and it start watching every move them, it start making a 'hissing' sound and the other snakes who was sleeping heard the 'hissing' sound made by the other snake. So while Carmilla, Clone 1, and Clone 2 was looking around the opening they did not notice the snakes since the [Night Vision] Skill only have 6 meters of range and the snake was more than 6 meters away but they also heard a 'hissing' sound and they know that kind of animal can make that kind of sound so the three of them became alert instantly.
