Chapter 1

As the 'Victory' popped up on the screen of my computer, the door of my Game Room opened. I didn't turn my gaze to my back and still looked at my computer, full of people wanting to invite me to play in a ranked game. Yet, I kept declining them.

It's time for my rest hours. I set a schedule for my health.

"How many matches did you win? In every game?" The person behind my back said and I know he had an astonished look on his face.

"Maybe around 10 matched or so~," I said, unknowingly.

I'm not that person who will count the matches that I've played. Or win. It's exhausting.

"How about the League Of The Saga?"

"Hmm... 10 I think? I don't know. I'm thinking of leaving this game." I calmly said without even looking at the person behind my backside.

I closed the app of the game I was playing just now and turned my swivel chair towards him, who was now holding a white folder.

Even though I didn't look at the inside of the folder, I have a hint that it was the same thing as the last time. I refused them many times, but still, more people wanted to persuade me.

"About that... how many folders did they send to you these past years? Did you warn them not to give the contracts carelessly?"

"Well, as you see, you're now 20, same as mine, right? You started your debuting career as a live audio streamer when you were 12, right? And many people see how good or godlike you are at every game since you reach 15 years old. I think 5 years. And for contracts, I didn't count them." He even shrugged his shoulder.

I feel him.

Who would sum up countless contracts from different teams and opposite games for the past few years? Only the stupid would gonna do that.

"Hah! I told them by email that I'm not going to play and join a team. Why can't they stop doing that? Persuading a person who rejected their proposal. Tsk!" I snorted before glancing at the contract that Sheng's holding. " Who's the coach of the E-Sport Team that came now?"

"Captain of the Kings Leopard, from the game of League Of The Saga. I didn't know that there was an upcoming E-Sport Tournament in that said game. But why do you want to leave? "

"Man, I told you! I'm busy. If I'm only a student, then it's fine. But I'm now managing my parents' or grandparents' business. Training and playing numerous times just to reach the finals, it's tiring, man!" I growled.

But the truth is, I wanted to give this opportunity, this World Championship to someone else...

...To the kids I used to teach when I'm still the Zhang Xin they know. This is my second life. I thought I'll gonna rest in peace.

I already bid farewell to my beloved ones. But I don't understand why I came back as a young kid.

I even visited my funeral. What a fate.

"That s-cks. I'm happy that I'm not the only child. Poor you, man!" He even laughed in my direction which made me roll my eyes.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! What are you doing here? I know you're not just giving this contract to me, you have an ulterior motive, don't you?" I said, seriously.

We're best friends since we were ten years old. I know what kind of guy he is. He's only visiting me when he wanted something or just got bored in his house.

We already move from our parents to be an independent sons.

If Sheng doesn't need anything, he'll just take a picture of the contract and send this to my email. What a shameless guy. Same as me.

"Yes! You know that my parents are in the field of Game Company, right? My brother and even my uncles wanted me to build a club for Professional Gamers to participate in every E-Sport Tournament last month. So, I'm here to ask if you're willing to be the investor of the newly built club, don't worry about the Pro Gamers because it's already done—"

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I get it, okay! What a shameless guy."

"Wow, who's talking?" He sarcastically said that made me a grin before crossing my hand to another.

"I'll invest 50% in your club, on one condition, you need to make sure that the player you found can make it to the finals. It's okay if they didn't win World Championship. As long as they can reach the finals. If they wanted to, then that's better." I said, telling the proviso before I invest.

I'm not that person who will just be giving out a large sum of money to the person that can't even promise to exchange it in the future.

But knowing this person, I have a  strong trust or intuition that he can make this club famous. And started to attract more Professional gamers to join.

"Don't worry. All of them are disciples or fans of the late veteran Professional Gamer, Zhang Xin. Because of complicated circumstances, they stopped playing, and began facing the reality of life." He answered, confidently.

However, after hearing those words coming out of his mouth, I was stunned for a minute. I didn't know what to react or what to say.

He's what?

"Students of Zhang Xin, the oldest player or the veteran Professional Gamer? You sure?" I asked again, maybe I didn't hear it.

Maybe he's talking about someone else.

"Yes! He is! All of them leave their previous team because of their captains." I slightly nodded after hearing those words.

I know about these rumors too. It's circulating through social media, about other Professional Gamers who engaged in a huge betrayal of their team.

And netizens kept telling how shameful they are being Zhang Xin's disciple. Even though they didn't know what happened or if it happened.

" Just keep watching them. You know about rumors, right? If they started to play in E-Sport again, many backlashes will happen, and some will do everything to destroy them. I can't let my money be wasted on the club that can't protect their people." I warned, before moving my swivel chair to the back again so that I can face my computer.

I started to shift my mouse to the app of the League Of The Saga and when I press the game one word appeared on the screen of my computer at the center of it. It says the game is loading, so I needed to wait for 1 minute or so.

After the loading, the screen of my computer lit up and the name of the game popped up.

'Welcome to League Of The Saga'

I'm not here to play, it's my rest hours, I just visited this game for something else.

At the southern part of the game to the right corner, there's a chat box. I press it and found thousands of messages from my fans, players, pro players, and even coaches of a different team.

Anti-fans are included too. It's not disappearing.

I already know last week that there's an upcoming E-Sport Tournament that will happen in League Of The Saga. The management of the game always informed me about this and wanted me, at least, to play as a part of the team or they were willing to introduce me to the popular coach.

But I kept declining them, telling them that I don't have any interest in playing this game outside my house.

Or sometimes, I'm telling them that I'm busy with my parent's business.

[ Are you joining the upcoming E-Sport Tournament, Xian? ]

[ I want to see you, Xian! Please join the tournament!]

[ Join the tournament, Xian! I wanted, we wanted to see you! ]

[ It's a loss if you didn't use your capabilities as a gamer in the upcoming E-Sport Tournament, Xian.]

[ Are you a coward? What a shame! ]

[ Be a man, Xian! What's wrong with trying?! ]

[ Coward! Just quit! ]

[ Just quit the game and give the rankings to others! You're not worthy, cowardly a-s! ]

[ Unfollow. Unfollow. Unfollow. I'll follow you again if you play in the E-Sport Tournament! Show what you've got! ]

[ Hi, I'm your fan. I'm also a Professional Gamer of the xxxx team. I wanted you to be on our side... ]

[ Hi, this is Cheng Aaron, the coach of the xxxx, are you willing to join my team? ]

[ Hi, I hope you don't mind if you let us, xxxx, be your teammates and crash the arena to the upcoming E-Sport Tournament! We're willing to cooperate and let you be our new captain! ]

[ Hi, Xian. This is xxxx, captain of xxxx will you be part of my team? You're gonna be the gold laner... ]

Blah... Blah... Blah!

It's no different from the previous messages that I got after logging in. They kept on bashing me, persuading me, and forcing me to join in that coming event. Even though I don't have any intention to be in E-Sport.

" Want to be a Professional Player in my club?" Sheng said he was also gazing at my computer, at the chat that I've kept opening without leaving a reply.

"I refused." I immediately said that made him curse.
