Her Return 4

Mouths flew open as they watched the supreme Alpha, making a grand entry with his beta by his side. His face was covered with a mask, only his pink lips, sharp nose and emerald eyes were obvious. The navy blue suit hugged his firm body perfectly. The rings on his left ear glittered in contrast with his aura making him look breathtakingly attractive. His dark brown curly hair and well built muscular body attracts ladies around him. Some of them stood from afar as they admire his sharp looks, while some gave him seductive looks but no one dared try to touch him or talk to him.

Kimberly didn't fail to notice those ladies drooling over him and she couldn't blame them. The supreme Alpha was a devilish handsome man indeed. Even though his face was masked, one could perfectly admit that he was no doubt a beautiful creature. Even some older women couldn't keep their eyes off him and his beta.

Though, they were both putting on masks but they still attracted people's attention.

Kimberly watched their entry from where she stood and couldn't help but awe. Suddenly, her eyebrows hitched as something hit her.

Dark brown curly hair...!

And... his body structure..!!

"Could it be who she was thinking!"

Her eyes widened at the thought of the mysterious man.

Nah... it's not possible.

"Could it." She asked subconsciously.

At that instant, every single soul at the place and at that time made a bow except Kimberly, whose mind was occupied with the thought of comparing the supreme Alpha and the mysterious man.

She wondered as her eyes subconsciously travelled to the supreme Alpha again. Like a slow motion the supreme Alpha's eyes met hers and the world seemed to still at that moment.

It was obvious the reason the Supreme Alpha's eyes went towards her. She was the only one who had her head up while every other living thing in that place had their head down.

The Alpha has slightly turned to know who had the gut to disrespect him only to find out that it was a young woman standing at a place a little far from where he stood looking like a walking seduction. No woman has ever caught his eyes the way she did yet again. Without the mask he had on, people would have known that he almost drooled for this particular woman which turned out to no other than his arrogant sheep!

"What is she doing here?"

Alex asked Ethan through the mind link and Ethan followed his line of sight only to set his eyes on Kimberly. To say he was left speechless was an understatement, he was gobsmacked as he too does not know she was there. But one thing was clear to the both men, her presence at the place and at that time means only one thing. She was either a witch, a wolf, a seer or a supernatural.

Interesting!

How could it not be interesting to him when it's related to his arrogant sheep.

However...

Kimberly on the other hand decided to wave the thought, unaware of the commotion she caused around her.

"Who is she?"

"Does she have a death wish?"

"Such guts she got..!"

Whispers filled the air but a sudden clearing of throat silenced the atmosphere.

"It's been a long time Kim.." A voice said beside Kimberly. She could easily recognize that voice anywhere or anytime whether as Kimberly or Helena.

Slowly, Michelle and the other duo which were Graciela and Lucia approached where she was. Immediately, her eyes narrow darkly, she had sighted them first with some of the others when she stepped into the place and she knew just the exact thing to do to get their attention.

"I didn't see you walk in... how have you been?" Michelle asked as she inched closer to her. She had been in doubt for years, if Kimberly knew of her involvement in happened to Helena, her mother. But Kimberly's sudden action shocked her to the core.

Kimberly pulled her into a hug, like the goddaughter she knew used to do. And what left her gobsmacked was what Kimberly called her.

"Mum... I've missed you and sister so much.."Kimberly said with a cute pout. Whoever saw her now would never believe that she's the same person with Kimberly Hills, the arrogant CEO of Hills Corporation in Shanghai. She turned into a different person entirely.

Michelle's doubts about Kimberly practically flew away with what she just witnessed and she victoriously smiled inwardly.

Kimberly on the other hand who saw Michelle's shocked expression knew she had just played her cards well just now. It wasn't' yet time to burn the bridge entirely between them, rather she wants to take her time and eliminate them slowly one by one.

"It's best to keep my enemies closer." she reasoned as she hid a devilishly smirk with her ever cute smile, taking a look at the three women in front of her.

To the other two women who were with Michelle, Kimberly was just a spoilt child who won't pose a threat to them. To the duo, Kimberly hardly knew them especially Graciela, who was not in good terms with the latter's mother. But what they didn't know was that Kimberly already knew.

Before she transmigrated, Kimberly barely cared about knowing anyone from the Dark North clan's Supreme witches. Since she never had that motherly and daughterly bond with Helena, her mother. She had only heard a few of them being mentioned whenever her mother discussed with Michelle whenever they paid each other a visit.

Ethan had always been the one to address the people whenever there's a gathering and that day was not an exception. Alex had never addressed the people for once in his life. He finds it boring and never sees it as a responsibility.

His lips curled up in a silly smirk as he sat watching Kimberly's every move intently. From the way she changed from a fierce tiger to a meek little lamb was enough to tell him that this arrogant sheep was up to no good.

His eyes observed her dress for the ninth time since the party started. And he almost snapped when he saw how other men where drooling at his arrogant sheep. Immediately, he regretted ever throwing that party, wishing he could pluck out their eyes and feed it to them for drooling at what was his.

"Damn..!"He muttered. His eyes not moving away from her while cursing under his breath.

His eyes followed her as she walked out of the place, heading to a place that seems like a balcony. Moving his eyes away from her, his eyes darted around as he twirl the glass of wine in his hand. His face suddenly turned cold when it settled on a particular person.

"How the fuck did he get in here?"

However...

"Still as beautiful as always..."Kimberly heard James say beside her. She had just came to the balcony to have some fresh air after her drama with Michelle.

"what is it with you and women? I thought you and Kiara are together now." She said a little bit louder to James as she Kiara was approaching.

"the drama's just beginning..." Kimberly sneered inwardly.

"No offense." She mumbled as she stared briefly at Kiara, who smiled dryly at her.

"Yes, we're still together.."Kiara said and took James's hand into her's.

Kimberly nearly scoffed a laugh as she watched the duo.

"Hi love..." Kimberly heard from behind and turned. It was a blonde guy that looked pretty hot though.

"But not as hot as Mr. Mysterious man." Her subconscious chipped in immediately and she nearly rolled her eyes.

He wore a deep brown suit and had that killer smile. Just that smile alone made Kimberly rate him better than Mr. Mysterious man who always had a cold look. One look from Kimberly and she already knew what he was. A wolf.

"How you doing? "He asked seductively.

And Kimberly forced a smile, trying not to let loose her arrogance.

"Am good, thanks. " she mumbled.

"In for a drink?" The guy asked again.

"Sure..."

Without much thought Kimberly agreed, she didn't need any other excuse to leave that awkward drama.

Slowly, she left with the guy with the duo's eyes burning into their retreating backs.

However...

"Am Dylan.... by the way..." The guy said as they went into the hall and walking towards the place where the drinks where kept.

"Kimberly..."She said trying to avoid any longer conversation.

"No need to thank me.... for earlier. You are welcome." Dylan said with a smile. He had overheard the conversation earlier and already knew that the man with the other ladies earlier was already a jerk and still won't stop acting like one. He could guess them a lot.

However, immediately Kimberly heard him. Her arrogance automatically spilled and she snapped.

"Excuse me?" She asked halting her steps.

"Don't flatter yourself.... and if I may advice you. Stop poking your nose around people's business." She added as she left him. Going towards a place she guessed was the restroom.

Unknown to her, a pair of eyes was watching her every move.

After she was done with her unnecessary retouches in the restroom. She heaved a sigh leaving the restroom. Only to bump into someone on her way out.

"Can today get any better?!" She screamed inwardly.

On seeing the person's Kimberly's eyes widened.

"Lucas?"
