~~ COUNTRY D, MICHELLE'S PLACE ~~

"No.. No..!"

"No!!!" Michelle screamed loudly as she jolted up from her sleep.

Beads... Beads of sweat could be seen all over her face as she placed her trembling hand on her chest, trying to calm her racing heart down. She touched her cheek to see tears, looks like she was both crying in her dream and reality.

"It was all a nightmare?" She said but shook her immediately..

That felt too real to be a dream...

This was what Michelle has been going through for the past weeks ever since the Grimoire landed in her hands. She could hardly remember the last time she slept soundly as all her sleeps always ends up in a nightmare.

However...

"Urghh..." She released a groaned as a terrible headache hit her. She suddenly felt like her head was splitting in twos. She slowly struggled lifting her upper body weakly, she has managed to calm herself but her left hand still refused to be calmed as it was still trembling.

Her right hand moved to her forehead and she let out a moan, her eyes searching for only one thing.

Water...

"Wa.. water." She muttered. Her voice was hoarse as her throat was so dry and sore.

Immediately her eyes caught the water jug on the drawer near the bedside table, she sighed in relief. Stretching her hand immediately, she grabbed the jug of water.

To her disappointment, the jug was empty. She sighed weakly dropping it back and she came down from the bed. She wanted to call one of the maids to get the water for her but on a second thought, she tapped her phone only to realize that the time was still three o'clock in the morning.

Heaving a rough time, a thought hit her and she paused going back to her bed.

Michelle took out her pillow and touched the head of her bed pressing a button on it. Her bed dived into two places and the center came to view. The ground opened by itself revealing a stair that leads to nothing other than her underground.

She grabbed her phone, scrolled through it and switched her phone to an airplane mode. Then, she switched the flashlight on and slowly walked in. Immediately she was in. She touched the button on the wall and her room returned to normal.

Turns out it was her underground Coven stead.

Switching off her flashlight, darkness engulfed the entire place and she muttered...

"Lumos..."Michelle said.

Immediately the red candles placed at each corner of the place started burning illuminating the place except the three ones placed on top of the alter at the center of the place. Different paintings and symbols could be seen on the walls of the place.

Walking to the corner where her black cloak was hanged. She put on her cloak and slowly walked to a bowl filled with a black liquid. It was the cleansing elixir...

She dipped her both hands in the liquid, then slowly she moved to the alter putting her hands together and chanting some spells.

Getting to the alter she knelt down as she took a dagger from her inner cloak and slit her left wrist and instantly her hand stopped trembling. Letting her blood drop at the center of the symbol drawn in the middle of the three candles just like the one at the witches coven but the latter was bigger. She took one of the sacred incense sticks, she lit it up with a fire stone and slowly lit the three huge red candles on the alter. Putting her hands together, she heaved a deep sigh, closing her eyes.

"Etos guru letes lantara mideas....."

"Lumes etes durio tetam.."

She began chanting in a firm, fast and steady rhythm, rubbing her palm together.

She kept chanting and chanting till she felt like there was another light added to the one in the coven as her closed eyelids went brighter than usual.

At that moment, she opened her eyes and it landed on the Grimoire she kept on the other side of the alter.

The Grimoire stood in the mid air glowing brightly but taking a closer look on it. Michelle could swear that the light it was glowing right now was different from the light she saw it glow the first time at the cursed castle...

What is happening..?

~~ COUNTRY Z, CAMILLA'S PLACE ~~

Camilla's phone rang just when she walked out of the bathroom. She walked to her bed where she dropped it and glanced at it, it was Roman calling.

She sighed before walking away to her closet not picking the call. Right now, all she needed was a little space, her emotions were taking the best of her and she doesn't want any of that.

Roman had been calling her since she left his house and she had picked none. As soon as she finished putting on a more comfortable pajamas. She walked to the living room and settled herself on a couch. Just immediately she sat down, the door opened revealing a worried Roman.

Immediately Roman saw her on the couch, looking fine, he sighed in relief. He took fast strides towards her while Camilla got to her feet.

"What are you doing here?" She asked gently and Roman scoffed.

Was she seriously asking him that? He'd noticed she was in a bad mood when she left his place and he decided to call but she had ignored it completely!

"Why haven't you been picking up my calls?" He asked. Camilla sighed before looking away from him.

"Is there something I should know you're not telling me.., stop doing this and tell me.."He asked but she stood still and kept quiet.

"Say something Cam.., I'm going crazy here.." Roman groaned roughing his hair in frustration. He wanted to say something again but then the words from Camilla made him swallow it.

"Let's give each other a space," Camilla blurted out, she knew it was selfish of her to say that but she just couldn't help it.

However...

For a moment, Roman thought he was hearing things.

"Wh... What?" His voice came out as a whisper.

"I think we need to give each other some space," Camilla muttered, still avoiding his eyes.

"Cam.. Space.?! What the hell are you saying..?" Roman asked, his voice breaking.

He's got to be dreaming..

"Exactly as you heard, Roman.." Camilla said her voice a little raised this time around and Roman eyes widened.

"Okay cam.. I don't quite get where this conversation is leading to.., w-where the hell is that coming from..?!" Roman asked with his voice raising with each word.

"Cam.., you know... you know how much I love you, how much I changed to be with you... for heavens sake Cam..! You know I can't live without you..!" Roman yelled, his voice filled with so many emotions.

Camilla felt a tear run down her cheeks, she could feel the wall she was beginning to build between them collapsing bit by bit. But she persisted wiping the tear in a swift motion.

"And you are asking for a break up..?" Roman continued talking.

"Roman.., I didn't ask for a break up.. okay, I just need a space for now, that's all." she quickly said.

"Break up and space, what difference does it make.?! It's all the same! And you know what, I'm disappointed in you Cam..!" Roman yelled and Elias, his wolf growled in pain. He was hurting...

"I'm disappointed with the fact that after all these things we shared, we'd come to this..?!so... you are telling me that If I hadn't come to you then you'd have ignored me forever when you're clearly aware that it can kill me! You need space, right? Then you can have it! Sooner or later I'll learn how to live without you..!" Having said that, Roman left the house in anger.

Not long after he left, Camilla let down the tears hanging at the corners of her eyes. Her sobs were silent and full of pain, but not as much as the pain she feels in her heart.

She also can't live without Roman, she wasn't sure but recently she feels life living her slowly as she tries to stay away from him, It was like he was her life source.

It is true that they haven't gone too far in their relationship, but the feelings they have for each other is intense.

However...

What if he suddenly decides to break up with her just the way she wanted..? Could she take it..?

Her fears began taking the best of her...

She knew she was selfish when she'd told him she needed space but what could she do. Was she protecting him this way or was she pushing him away..?

She had to do what was right and that's asking for a space before it gets too late.

*****

Meanwhile...

Roman walked out of the house in anger, he went straight to his car and went in. Wiping the tears that clouded his eyes threading to fall, he heaved a rough sigh and ignited the engine and immediately drove out of the house.

However,

Not long after he drove out of Camilla's place, he was about thirty meters away from her place when he caught a scent. His eyes instantly turned yellow and his nose perked.

It was two scent actually but one was familiar to him and he just couldn't pinpoint where he knows it from.

Instantly, he halted on his way causing the car tyres to screech. He had to park his car by the roadside and step down. He began to trace the scent bit by bit and strangely the scent was leading him back to the same side he came from.

As he kept walking and the scent kept becoming stronger and stronger. Roman's brows furrowed as it was already obvious that the scent was leading him back to Camilla's place.

However...

It was only about seven meters to Camilla's place that Roman's eyes caught the owners of the scents.

His furrowed brows deepened as there was nothing familiar with the figures he saw lurking around Camilla's place as if they'd come for a survey. The two figures were backing him as they engaged in conversation.

He wanted to go back to his car and drive out of the place as if whatever that concerns Camilla was none of his business.

She needed space... didn't she? But on the other hand Roman decided to walked closer.

What could they be doing lurking around his mate's house by that time of the day..? He thought walking closer.

But however, Roman haven't made up to fours steps when one of the two figures turned slightly.

Immediately Roman's eyes caught the person's face... his eyes darkened.

"Magnus..?!"
