After that we walked in and found our table.The venue was a large ballroom,with over twenty large round tables.There was a stage and podium at the front of the room.The press had gathered outside in the front enterance,but Elbert had instructed the driver to drop them off at the side enterance .Everyone was immactulately dressed.There wasnt much mingling.Waiters started serving hors d'oeuvres and wine.

Soon the award ceremony started,the announcer was plain and boring and lack of personality.Every single person who received an award for some reason or another gave a speech.
