I felt hardin is very tensed cause he was constantly walking to and fro in front of the car. 


I sat inside the car looking at him, I know something is wrong but I also know this - that he won't tell me anything. 


After disconnecting the call, he hopped inside the car and the first thing he did was, he pulled me towards him and kissed my forehead.


"What happened? " I asked cause I was really worried about him. He looked stressed and I can't see him like this. 


 "Clare " he wrapped his hand around my waist holding me close "Remember this one thing okay, whatever I do... It will be to protect you and my family " he said and this struck me hard. 


"You are scaring me hardin? What are you doing? Are you in some problem? " I asked , I don't want hardin to be in trouble. 


"No babe, no problem " he once again kissed my cheek. 


We sat there for a long time, he didn't leave me for even a second.
