Magdalene couldn't concentrate the whole day as her mind kept playing the words of that boy.
"Are you alright? you've been spacing out since morning" He told her worriedly as he stirred some blueish substance inside a pot on a charcoal. It was boiling and evaporating just as Apollo wanted it to.
"I'm good, it's nothing" She replied.
"Is it about the Lord?" He asked her.
"No, it's just... nevermind" Magdalene replied.
"Okay. But if you feel like you want to talk to someone you know I'll always be here for you right?" He said leaving the boiling substance to place a hand on Magdalene shoulder.
She nodded feeling touched by his concern, he was like a father figure to her when she had none.
"Can I take a look at the children?" Magdalene asked and he nodded.
"Go ahead" He smiled and signaled her out.
Magdalene gave a small bow, before she leaved to climb upstairs so as to see the children.
