At Trevor Stone Consultants,
Over the next week, Erin worked non-stop.
She accompanied Mr.Park in all of his meetings and even helped him hire an architect and come up with a plan for the remodelling of Jiang Hotels.
...
"Wooden floor or tile?" asked Mr.Park.
"I would go with tile. It will last longer and is cheaper per square meter." answered Erin affirmatively.
"Great! I think we have all we need for today," said Mr.Park as he closed his notes.
Erin was about to leave the meeting room, when Mr.Park stopped her.
"Erin, I am pleased with your work and I will be sure to give Mr.Stone a great review." he said with an approving smile.
She nodded politely, "Thank you sir,"
He reached his hand out and she shook it firmly in a professional manner.
Erin returned to her office, and sat down.
She removed her heels under the desk and wiggled her toes. She was relieved to finally have a break.
Knock, knock.
