Working Woman

Another month and a half had passed and Erin still hadn't returned to work.

Now that she was in the second trimester, the sickness had subsided and she found that she was regaining some energy.

"I'm coming with you," she said firmly, getting out of bed after Daniel.

He looked concerned, "Are you sure?"

"Yes," she stressed firmly, "I am so bored sitting around here, I have read every book in this house and I feel like my brain is melting!"

Daniel laughed, "Fine Erin, but if you feel tired go home... and don't walk around the company. Make people come to you in your office."

Erin smiled and hugged him, "Okay... does anyone there know that I'm pregnant?"

"No.. and I don't advise telling them yet." he said sounding worried.

She looked confused, "Why?"

Daniel put his tie around his neck, "You know... old, sexist mentalities. Women are too emotional to make decisions ..."

Erin raised her eyebrow, "Fine."
