Meanwhile in the honeymoon suite of the Jiang Hotel. Liam Yang stood in the spacious outdoor balcony, typing on his cellphone, confirming travel plans, and feeling drained and tired from the long evening of forced smiles.

The chilly, night wind blew his hair and he shivered at the feeling. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and locked his phone, placing it in his suit pants and leaned against the balcony edge.

Not facing the restless city beyond, instead his back pressed on the ledge and he stood facing the hotel, like a man admiring the face of a mountain.

An electrical buzzing sound filled his ears. The powerful red light from the enormous neon sign hanging on the side of the building, shone over him. He stared into the light, not blinking, reading the symbols that spelled a name, 'Jiang'.

His eye caught his own reflection in the glass balcony door, lit up in red.
