25 Nothing Serious

He led her to the stuffy bedroom and placed her down on the double bed.

She covered her embarrassed face and wiped her eyes, "Shao I didn't come to.."

"It's okay," he said standing over her and massaging her tense shoulders.

"Just rest for a minute, try to calm down."

He kicked some laundry under his bed and left the room.

"I'll get you a glass of water!" he called from the hall.

She removed her heels and looked around the room. It was fairly untidy, some drawers left open and his bed sheets were creased and in an unappealing brown color, but she just chalked it up to him being a typical guy.

She placed her small handbag on the bedside table and used a tissue to wipe her mascara stained cheeks.

He returned shortly with a tall glass of cold water and she graciously accepted it.

He watched her gulp down the drink and began unbuttoning his shirt.

Lina spat out the water and turned to face him with wide eyes, "Shao? What are you doing?"
