41 Daddy?

The ladies arrived by taxi at The Peninsula hotel. Amber stared wide-eyed at the fancy decor and high ceilings when they entered the lobby.

Lina stopped and turned to Amber, "You can wait here Amber. I will just drop off a dress really quickly."

Amber laughed in disbelief, "Ha! No way, I am definitely coming girl. This place is for people who are like rich-rich!"

Lina rolled her eyes and walked with Amber to the elevator.

They took the lift up to the third floor and Lina got out first, searching for room 303.

"Psst..." said Amber running along side Lina, "This guy you used to work for.. Are you still working for him?"

"Nope," Lina sighed, "We had a contract but it's expired now."

Amber nodded and walked quickly beside Lina, offering to help carry some bags.
