His jeans dropped to his ankles with a metal clanging sound as the belt buckle met with the polished granite tile.

Lina rubbed her tired eyes, confused and doubtful. She thought she might be dreaming.

He seemed like another person and the bed sunk when he kneeled at the foot and made his way over.

She shuddered when he pulled her by the ankle and hovered over her.

He stank of alcohol and cigarettes and Lina pulled away when he tried to kiss her.

"Will, you're drunk!" she yelled at him.

He seemed saddened, but he grabbed her firmly by the arms and pressed her down into the mattress.

"You said that you wanted me, right? Tell me you want me!"

He pressed his lips hard on hers and she complained in muffled sounds. His heavy body crushed her and his face buried in her neck.

Is he crying? she wondered when she heard him sniff and clear his throat with his face still hidden in her hair.

His arms wrapped around her and slid between her body and the bed.
