149 Sketchy Sister

Lina Liang sat in her brother's room wearing some comfortable clothes and eating her noodles. As she twisted each chopstick around and leaned against the cold wall she wondered if what she was doing was right?

Maybe she was going too far? What if William was offended that she was about to buy her own flat? Is it possible that he wouldn't give in and they'd be actually over?

She loved him, deeply, there was no doubt about that but she felt like he needed a bit of a push and she hoped that he would get over his fears once he knew that there was a chance of losing her.

It was risky, no doubt, but Lina tried to stay strong and resist the urge to pack up her bag and return to room 303.

Lina fell asleep that night and woke to the sound of her brother fumbling around in the room.

"Yan?" she said blinking and turning the light on.

He was drunk or high, one of them and he didn't even answer her when she spoke to him.

"My bed," he mumbled and pulled the cover off Lina.
