222 Don't Touch My Wife

"Look what you've done!" William said through gritted teeth as he tried to keep his composure. Had he been at home and not at a restaurant, things would have been very different and he was infuriated thinking that Lina was off crying and feeling betrayed right now.

"Whoaa? What's wrong with Lina?" Julie asked when she came over to the table after seeing Lina rush out to the outdoor patio with a horrified expression on her face.

Lina walked and walked along the long patio that overlooked the strip of busy bars and restaurants, feeling the cool evening air hit her face. She felt grateful for the wind as it seemed to breathe some oxygen into her otherwise suffocated self.

She removed her cardigan, scrunched it into a ball and proceeded to lean on the glass balcony, feeling overwhelmed and distraught.

What did he mean 'messed with her pregnancy?' She asked herself, trying to wrack her brain for what they possibly could have done.
