247 Six Years Later

Six Years Later.

"Kaylee! Kaylee?? Hurry up! You're going to make mommy late!" Lina called and pulled a beige sling-back heel on her right foot.

Lina checked her outfit in the long mirror beside her vanity table; brushing her shoulder length brown hair and buttoning the last button on her knee-length, baby blue shirt dress.

A small circular handbag, with woven detail completed the stylish look and a spritz of some French perfume she had bought on their last trip had her feeling heavenly.

"You look beautiful mommy," said the handsome five year old sitting on the edge of the king-sized bed watching his mother's reflection, and swinging his little feet.

"You're always my biggest fan Kayden," Lina said pinching his adorable little cheek and making him blush.

Lina bent down to adjust Kayden's collar; a pale blue shirt and some summer tan shorts had him looking like daddy's twin. Sure to be a heartbreaker; those big brown eyes and pouty lips just made Lina's heart melt.
