We Are Always With You

At Jasmine's side,

This morning was not normal as everyday. Something is gonna happen was everyone's intuition. Chris and Amelia were afraid, but they don't know the reason behind their intuition.

Amelia was making Cookie ready for her orphanage visit. Every time she touches her daughter, she feels weird sensation, like she is going far away from her daughter. She was feeding her, and at one point, she became extremely disturbed by her intuition that she started crying bitterly hugging cookie. Chris was reading newspaper, hearing sound of Amelia's weeping he rushed to dining area. He seen Amelia hugging her daughter and was crying bitterly. Cookie was also having tears in her eyes. Unknowingly, tears came in his eyes too. But he wiped them and took cookie from Amelia's hand.

" What happened?, why you both are crying", asked Chris

" Dadda, Mom is upset. I don't know why she is crying. I can't see her like this. So I am also crying.", said Cookie with a sob

" What happened Ami?"

" Chris, I can't take it more. I don't know what is happening with me. But, I am feeling like we are gonna separate with our daughter. I can't lose my cookie. Chris I can't", saying this she again took cookie in her arms and cried bitterly.

" Momma, nothing is gonna happen. Look I am a strong baby. Stop crying. I will come soon. I am just going for a visit. But If you are not agree with that, then I can skip it", said Jasmine with a bright smile, as she was a theif of going to school.

" My naughty one, you have to go school. It is compulsory. Now let's go", saying this Chris picked Cookie in his arms.

" Wait for one minute", saying this Amelia went in a room and brought a necklace which was a simple chain made of gold. It has a heart shape pendant in which their family photo was placed.

She made cookie wear that pendant and kissed her on every part of her face.

" Be strong, my baby", that was the words came from Amelia ( Should I say, for the last time?)

Cookie and Chris went for her school. They reached and find one small bus was waiting for students. Chris reached their and placed his daughter on ground and hugged her tightly. Even he was also feeling bad intuition that time. He kissed his daughter on her forehead and cheeks.

" Baby bear, we are always with you", saying this he again kissed her.

" I love you dada, I will come soon", said Jasmine with sparkling eyes, and went into the bus.

Chris left from the place as soon as bus started. He was preparing inside his mind that he must not be able to take Cookie back so, he should ask Amelia for that, as he has to go for giving his statement. He was thinking all these stuff and he reached home.

He knocked the door but no one opened the door. He again knocked but again no one opened.

" Amelia, I am back. Open the door. I am getting late. I have to reach court on time.", said Chris

But still no one opened the door. He thought to go inside from back door, as soon as he took first step towards back side door opened suddenly.

" Ahh..why were you not opening the door", asked chris but he was dumbfounded as no one was present at the door. He went inside and as soon as he entered door closed from behind with a loud thud. Before he took any actions, he felt a strong hammer kind of thing banged with his back head, and he felt sharp pain. Because of this he lost his balance and fell down on the ground.

When he opened his eyes, he saw the most painful scene of his life. His wife was lying in a pull of blood in front of him. He gasped in shock and went near his wife.

" Amelia, Amelia, what happened ..why are you lying like this", shouted Chris

He took her hand in his palm but it was motionless. He checked her breathing but, he found no sensation of her breathing. He became pale. His heart started exploding. All the happy moments, he lived with his wife and his daughter flashed in his mind.

" Wake up, Amelia. Amelia I said wake up", shouted Chris really hard

" Our Cookie is waiting for you Amelia wake up.", saying this he broke down completely.

He cried his heart out.

" Amelia, I am saying you for the last time wake up...For Cookie's sake wake up. Who will feed her Amelia wake up. She will get afraid without you Ameliaaa"...speaking this he cried a lot..he was feeling everything rotating in front of his eyes..

" I will never leave that man who did this to you my wife", said Chris sobbing.

"Hahahaha... You will not leave me. You tried to harm my son's life, and here you are thinking I will leave you, You fucking idiot, I am here to kill you both..I will kill you both ...then how will you give statement...and I will be able to save my son's life..hahahaha..." said man and laughed.

Chris looked at back and found a man with knife full of blood. And that blood belongs to non another then his wife.

" Your son did bad things, and he was the reason for all this. I will not leave you... you bastard", shouted Chris and walked towards that man. Chris held him by his collar and punched him hard.

Before Chris can take any actions, that man killed Chris with his knife. Tear escaped from Chris's eyes..."Cookieeeeeeee"...was the last word came from him... And only one good deed of his, made the reason to end their lives.

I am sorry for this chapter. But this is a plot and I have to write it. I can skip this part but, I wanted to show some emotions.

The person who did nothing wrong suffered this much, and it is the life. We can't guess what is gonna happen.

I wrote this chapter because I am upset with the fact that we can't even speak against bad person because they are rich and powerful? Why?

I am sorry, if due of this chapter you are disturbed, even I am also disturbed.

But even in bad situation we always have a hope somewhere that, we will get Justice, and I am also having hope that I will give Cookie's parents justice.
