I was busy on a file when I got a phone call from Aly. I was happy after seeing the caller id on my screen, I had something to discuss with her as well.


Did I just misheard her? What did she say?


"Lucas is cheating on you Ken. I just saw him in a car with another girl. They were hugging each other inside the car. They looked too intimate to not doubt."


I didn't know how to react at the time. I still had to process her words. She just said that Lucas is cheating on me, but that's not possible. That is the last thing I'll trust on in my whole life.


"Ken, I'm telling you this Lucas guy is really cheating on you."


"Aly! Do you even realize what are you saying?"


"Come and see me at our favourite restaurant. I'll be there in fifteen minutes."
