That was just an attempt to make her feel comfortable and avoid awkwardness, I guess it worked. 


We started seeing other business personalities. All this time, I made sure that she would be comfortable around the people. 


"Ladies and gentlemen, the dance floor is open for everyone. We welcome you all for a dance and make the night even more special." The host's announcement dragged everyone's attention.


One by one, everyone started walking to the dance floor with their partners. I was in dilemma because of what happened earlier. But as I saw Thomson walking towards us again, I didn't think twice and hold her hand on mine.


I smiled at Thomson before moving to the dance floor with her. That was a little yet important victory for me.
