Wake up you sleepy head

William Rostov

I slowly opened my eyes when light falls on my face from the window. Hazel is peacefully sleeping in my arms. I smiled at her then brushed her cheek with the back of my hands. Then I kissed her forehead. She looks like a baby when she is sleeping. Then I kissed her eyes. She slightly moved in her sleep at my touch. My morning looks so beautiful with she in my arms.

“Good morning” I whispered in her ears.

But she did not move.

“wake up baby”

Still no movement.

“hey sleepy head wake up”.

But no response. I smiled at her stubborn sleep.

“sweetheart” I said by licking her ear lobe.

By seeing no response I used a different tactic. I slighty bit her earlobe.

“hmmmmm” she still did not open her eyes.

“honey if you did not get up this time then it will be very bad for you”.

“so get up”.

“I want to lay in bed the whole day” she said sleepily.

“look the sun is shining brightly and your dad is waiting for us at the breakfast table”.
