CHAPTER 39 TELLING THE TRUTH

Amelia tried to get out of Dylan's lap, but he held her close. She wasn't crying now, but

her eyes were swollen.

"Now tell me everything," said Dylan, looking in her eyes. There was fear in her eyes.

"Just remember that you promised me you're not going to get angry," Amaa said with an adorable puppy face.

"I know my girl, do you want me to write it down?" Dylan asked. He was annoyed now.

He told her again and again that he wasn't going to get angry, but she wasn't satisfied.

Amaa was sighing.

"Well," she paused for a moment and took a deep breath and went on, "the day I stayed

in the apartment with Chloe. At night, we went to the club and I went to the restroom to refresh." She stopped again.

He knew that Amelia went to the club because he saw her location on his phone.

"And..." inquired Dylan.

Amelia placed her hands on his shoulders, massaging them gently. Dylan was losing

his patience now.

"A guy came in after me to the restroom and locked the door," Amaa said.
