Can't Escape My Fate

Amelia closed the book and went inside the room after reading for several hours. She'd finished the book in two days. She sat down on the bed and changed sides because she wasn't sleepy. She kept on thinking about ways to make up with Dylan.


Amelia sighed in despair, unable to come up with something to do because she was not even allowed to leave the bed. She was furious at Dylan for imprisoning her as if she were a criminal or a prisoner. 


Amelia eventually heard Archie's bark from outside the room. Amelia dashed to the door and flung it open. As she bent down to pick up Archie in her arms, she glared at the guys. Archie was never the one to bark at strangers. He was a good dog, but he was barking at the men for not opening the door to let him in.


"While I am not permitted to leave the house, this does not mean to stop others from entering. Never ever stop Archie again," Amelia yelled angrily at the guys and slammed the door.
