CHAPTER 109

"Dylan, don't come near me. I hate you," Amelia said.

"You love me, and I know it," Dylan said confidently with a grin on his face.

Of course she didn't hate him, and she never would, but at the time she just wanted him to leave her alone.

"Yeah!! And that's what you're taking advantage of," As more tears streamed down Amelia's cheeks, she replied.

"Didn't you take advantage of my trust and freedom?" Dylan responded. He was serious this time, and his voice was solemn.

"No, I didn't do it. Why are you all acting as if I was the one who wanted to be kidnapped? None of it was my fault," Amelia backfired at him.

"No one is implying that you wanted to be kidnapped; but we would not have ended up in that situation if you had used that dumb brain of yours," Dylan responded.

"You are cruel," Amelia snarled, "and I'm not stupid."

"I might be cruel, but I'm not selfish like you, who left with a stupid note and didn't care about either of us," Dylan said, his face cold and straight.
