CHAPTER 133

Amelia awoke the next morning without even saying good morning to Dylan. She went to the bathroom without even looking at him. She got ready for work, changed her clothes, and went downstairs without waiting for Dylan. She ate her breakfast quietly, her gaze fixed on her plate. She returned to her room quietly after finishing her breakfast to get her bag and lab coat.

Dylan was dying from his baby girl's silence. Even when Dylan entered the room and embraced and kissed her, his baby girl did not return his embrace or kiss, but she also did not stop him. She was treating him coldly and silently because she was used to arguing with him, but this time she chose to be quiet and not argue because that is what Dylan wanted, right? He wanted her to follow his orders and not argue, so she did.

They were on their way to work. Dylan intertwined their fingers in the car and placed tiny kisses on Amelia's hand, but she just looked out the window as though he wasn't there.
