CHAPTER 153

The following week flew by, and Amaa and Dylan were just a few days away from knowing the genders of their children. Amelia's phone rang at breakfast; she glanced at it, gave an irritated look, and hung up. She placed the phone back on the table after adding the number to her block list.

"Who has been calling you?" Dylan enquired.

"No one," Amaa replied uninterested, as she devoured her French toast,

"No one, huh? It's the fourth time you've got a phone call, and you have not answered it. It might be anything important," Dylan remarked. Because his baby girl is a doctor and sometimes gets calls from her patients, he assumed it was a call from one of her patients.

Amelia did not respond and continued eating breakfast, her attention focusing solely on her plate.  She pretended as if she had not heard Dylan or was oblivious that he was in the hall. He knew his baby girl was not in the mood to talk about it based on her demeanor, so he left it alone and did not bring it up again.
