Mr Humble CEO Changed Me

Veronica went to her mom's ward. The doctor was checking on her aunt. 


"Doctor, you are here, is there anything new with mom's condition?" Veronica asked, seriously. 


     Veronica was happy with her job's news, but Veronica doesn't express her happiness to anyone like before. Nor, she smiles at anyone. She now only gives small fake smiles. Not a genuine bright smile like before. 


             "No, it's like before, nothing new" Doctor said, with a serious face. "Oh, alright. It's okay" Veronica said, giving a small smile to the doctor. But she was sad in her heart. 


      "Okay, then I'll go now, I'll have to go and check my other patients." Doctor and left. 


      Veronica then sat beside her mom on a tool, held her aunt's hands and started speaking to her (Ani), "Mom, I finally got the job, mom! I finally got it! That too in the Deniz company! Can you believe it?"


Veronica said, her eyes welled up with tears.
