I need to reach Home!

Florence was coming back to home, kicking every pebbles that came in her way. Her day was hectic, first of all she had to start her day with complicated case and now she didn't get a cab back to home. Just as she was walking, she turned around to see that she lost her way in the woods. Just as she was trying to process what was going on, a loud voice of growl hit her eardrums. She's knew this sound, and yes she was right. She found three giant dogs all set to tear her apart on turning on and without a second thought, she started running to save her life not until she stumbled with a stone and fell on the ground with a bang.

The growls turned even prominent, she saw those giant dogs coming for her. She closed her eyes with her hands covering her face, she never though of facing such conditions even in her wildest dreams.

"Oh god! Pleasese help your child. Show mercy on me." She was praying in her heart and the growling reached into maximum pitch. The growling turned uglier, hitting every single cells of her ears and forming goosebumps all over her body. It kept on rising again and again, until there was a pin drop silence.

Florence thought everything ended, the struggle ended, her life ended and now she's no more. She didn't want to open her eyes, she was scared she'll have to see something which she wasn't ready for. The darkness around her with her eyes closed were still less scary to her than the darkness explained in the stories and myths regarding hell.

She was feeling light, as if she's got nothing left in her, she was feeling as if she's in air and all these were just her assumptions as she had kept her eyes still closed. She was feeling as if cold air sweeping trough her skin and the fear of being in hell got even prominent. She was feeling someone's touch, a cold and chilly touch enough to send chills down the spine yet safe and protective. The though of someone touching her was causing adrenaline rush in her body but she was too scared to open her eyes yet.

After sometime which felt like forever with fear increasing every single second everything calmed down. The coldness around her was no more, the touch no more existed and then, there came a husky, chilly, cold voice with a pinch of care in it,

"ALBIA!"

That was the limit, she couldn't hold it anymore. With her heart thumping aloud, she dared to open her eyes slowly, taking her time just to find a cloud of smoke around her. That caused her to panicked more, sweat breaking even more frequently than earlier. With the cloud getting thinner and thinner, her vision got more clearer. She saw her home in front of her, just in the distance of few steps. She realized she wasn't dead, she was safe and sound and a wide smile curved in her lips but the fear of something happening again overpowered her happiness.

Panting and sweating, she started running towards her home. The more she ran, the more she felt herself getting away from her home.

"No... I need to reach home. I need to reach home."

"Florence, Florence..." She could hear someone calling her but she couldn't see the source. "Florence!" With the last call, she jerked off and started panting and sweating. She looked at the person in front of her who was her mom. Not being able to believe upon what she saw, she turned around and saw herself on her bed, in her own room. It was a dream, a kind of dream which had too much of coincidences to think it just as a dream!
