"You didn't get anything out of her?" asks Edona.
"Ari asked an uncomfortable question," answered Gilda, "I couldn't stay there for long."
"You were supposed to get more information that I might have missed, you fool. But fine, it doesn't matter."
Edona starts pacing around the room while Gilda remained seated on her chair, "if what I heard was true, then Ardit is going to free Ari, but that stupid girl, she refused to sign the paper, even though Ardit told her numerous times that he would allow it. What does that girl want exactly? I'm so confused."
"Well, actually, Ari asked me for my opinion on that."
"What do you mean?"
"She asked what I would do if Ardit gave me the chance to be free, but I could not answer. I don't know why. I want to be free, but I'm so afraid of the outside world. I don't have many skills so I can't get employment, and he treats me so well, so why not stay as his slave and live a good life?"
