Ardit plans

The morning sun rises as the sunrays peer through the crack between the blinds. The bright rays hit Ardit in the eyes as he moves his head. He gets up and changes into some casual clothes. He leaves his room as the slaves near by bow down to him. He opens the door to an outdoor patio where a table was waiting for him. He sits down and the slaves arrive and all serve him his breakfast. There were croissants, cantaloupe with berries, coffee and orange juice. It was nothing special but Ardit was not demanding much these days.

"Here you go, Master," said Edona as she brought a small pitcher with syrup, "I know how much you love syrup in your croissant."

Ardit didn't say a word.

"Well, Master, I hope you are doing well. I noticed you have not been talking the last few days."

Again, nothing.

"Well, then, if you will excuse me." and Edona takes her leave.
