The buildings were so tall from street level. Ari was always dragged around by someone, but this time she was now walking by herself. The sun was on her right as it passed by the enormous buildings. She would constantly just stop and stare at them. It was amazing just how people can make such large creations. But these buildings weren't meant for people like her. They were built for the highest in society. The ones with all the money and the ones who make the rules. She was just an ant in a world full of giants.
She looks at all the people, all of them in business suits, talking on their phones, looking at their tablets. These were devices she knew of but not familiar with. She had a feeling she'd had to get a phone for herself once she could afford one. Would she be able to transform herself into a member of this society? She was free, after all. Ardit was true to his word and here she was, walking around as she pleased. All because she had a job, of course.
