They drove up a few miles down to a restaurant called The White Bell. It was a beautifully modern restaurant on the 300th floor with an amazing view of the city. It was so breathtaking that Ari was lost for words as they set next to a window that gives them a good view.
"I've seen the city before," she said, "but never like this."
"It's the angle," replied Ibrahim, "It's position in a way that gives the city the best profile. This is the famous angle you see in magazines."
As Ari stares at the skyline in the dark night lit by the millions of windows from the buildings, Bakshim was sitting a few tables away, facing opposite from them. He takes out his phone and calls Cher.
"How's it going?" she asks.
"I'm doing fine. My stupid friends came with me and it took me a while before I can lose them. I swear, they are just bothersome some time. If it not for Dani owing me some money, I would probably not be friends with her. But I do owe Rabi some money, so I guess-"
