As Manya and Ishaan reached the clinic, they saw that Manav and Sia were already standing near the reception, waiting for them. The four of them headed inside the clinic together; finding the floor mostly empty apart from the staff, Sia asked the question that was on everyone’s mind: “Why isn’t anybody else here?”

“That’s because Arjun has booked all the appointments for the entire day,” Manav replied, smiling.

“Oh! Okay.”

Ishaan heard that Arjun had taken care of the appointments and felt a sudden rush of anger inside his body.

Anger generally steals away the capacity to think logically, but Ishaan was a master at hiding his anger behind compassionate actions, or more suitably, fake his emotions with ease.*
