Rapid-fire

Manya didn't want to think anymore, but her blurred memories offered her no respite. She was trying her best to rest and ignore her intrusive thoughts but was unable to do so; it felt like her thoughts had formed a cyclone and she was standing at the eye of the storm. She heard footsteps coming in her direction, she could not process her response at that instant but she felt fear in her heart. She was scared at that moment, as if somebody was going to catch her or harm her.
