It's about responsibility

"I'm sorry. I am quitting." Deep gave his decisions. In the meeting room, there was a pin drop silence. Last time on behalf of Deep, Drishti signed a deal with Arya bhatt. That man was main investor in the project. In the middle way, Deep was refusing to do that anymore. Actually he was ready to give compensation. It was going to harm Deep's business. But he didn't care.

"Why are you quitting now? Weren't you desperate to be our partner?" Arya was really confused by his sudden change of behaviour.

"I think I'm not going to answer you that." Deep stood up and left the meeting room. When he got into his car, he made a call.

"Rajiv bhai, it's done. I've left the project." Deep was now really in tension. This is going to make Roy group get some severe losses. But because of Rajiv's request, Deep didn't even ask why.

"I know Deep, it's a great loss for your business. But I didn't want to hurt your company." Rajiv sighed. He was not irresponsible. It was just he didn't want to let Deep know everything now.

"Bhai, I trust you." Deep smiled. He knew if Rajiv asked, there must be some reason.

After ending the call, he straight went to doctor's chamber. He was here to talk about Mitali's situation. Medical technology said, Mitali could be cured so Deep was determined to make up for all of her pain and tears. He would try his best to give her every happiness.

"Deep Roy, I have an appointment today." Deep handed the receptionist a card.

"Yes, sir. There's patient inside. You need to wait. Thank you." The receptionist said politely.

With a nod, Deep was sitting on the waiting lounge. He needed to talk to doctor if Mitali could be cured. Drishti was right. Destiny is noting but a result if our work. So we need to try until last breath.

Deep already met Manav. He gave some test reports and prescriptions. Manav really loved Mitali a lot. The fear Deep had for Manav was long gone. He knew Manav was a devil. But a devil, to protect his owns.

"Sir, you can go inside." a boy informed him after almost thirty minutes. So he went and knocked the door. He never like to wait, but for Mitali, he was willing to do that again and again.

"Come in." The tired voice echoed.

"Deep Roy? You waited for oast thirty minutes? How come you have so much time?" the doctor asked curiously.

"You know me? " Deep was confused.

"It's not hard to know about you if a business magazine is in hands." He replied with a smile, "Now tell me how can I help you? I mean I'm a gynecologist."

"I know. Actually that's why I need to meet you....." He bit his lips, "It's about my wife."

"Your wife. Okay tell me." He was interested.

Deep showed him all those files, test reports and medicine lists. He explained what happened and how, even his guilt and repents too. Doctor was just listening to him silently. He didn't cut him off or meddle in the speech. When Deep was finished, he let out a faint smile.

"So you want to try to give her those happiness back?" He asked in a low voice.

"Yes."

"But you took such a decision without even letting your wife know. It's about her medication. It will be only possible when she will want. So i think at fist, you should ask her. You can then take her here. I can't do anything if she didn't come." Doctor tried to make him realise, he needed to open his heart to her.

"But anything else I can do....." Deep asked.

"No, nothing. And now I have to go. I need to pick my son from his classes. Or else his mom won't allow me in house tonight." He laughed a little and asked Deep to leave.

Deep also laughed with him. Seemed like he had a really happy family.

"Why did you call me here?" Anand didn't know why Sanjana was really eager to talk with him in her chamber. He had too much workload.

"I heard you are afraid of taking responsibility and all. That's what you said to Avantika in the morning, right?" She looked at him with a frown.

"Hey! Are you spying on me? How did you know?" He never knew anyone else could hear all these. There was only two of them.

"Did you forget Rhea is Manav's cousin? She was in office to meet him then. Moreover she told it to Aditya and Aditya told me. We met on a seminar today." She explained.

Anand wanted to cry. No where he could get a relief. In police station, there were spies, in his missions too and now in his personal life. Why there were spies all around?

"So are you here to inform about it?" Anand rolled his eyes.

"No, just to remind you, you know how to take responsibilities..Don't lie to yourself." She frowned, "You took responsibilities when Dri was suffering. You investigated the whole case from kolkata. You took the responsibility when Dri was in mission. You always accompanied her. You took responsibility for you while country. Or else you were not in this uniform. So if you are talking about responsibility and failure, that's really gonna bore."

"Di, being a police and marrying someone are not same." Anand tried to argue.

"I never said the same. I am just saying everything is a part of responsibility. And I'm sure you are not gonna fail." She smiled.

Anand never thought like that. But actually he was afraid. He knew he was exposed to these people. And they were trying to help him overcome. Still somewhere it hurt.

"I will try to think. I need to go now." He said.

When he left her chamber, he was trying to divert his mind by making some official call. But he was really confused when Arun called.

"Arun, tell me." Anand liked him a lot.

"Good evening sir, did I disturb you?" He said respectfully.

"No. I am off work now."

"Sir, I am not forcing you. But there was time when Avanti didn't want to leave Banglore. It was a city that spoiled her. She had friends and family there. She maybe joined for a job in Kolkata before you came. But I can say she went there only for you. I'm not asking you to accept her, but I am just here to inform, once she loved you with all of her heart. If you break it, she won't be able to love anyone. She is like that, since childhood. And I know her more than you. Please think about it." Arun thought it was important to let him know. Because it concerned Avantika.

"Arun, I heard you. But I need time. I know how it feels to see your sister like that. I also felt it when the closest one get hurt. But I have scars Arun, I need time to heal it." Anand sighed. He knew he needed to give Avantika a chance. She was unique. She loved him as a driver where girls used to run after money. He knew he was being unfair to her because of Amal Mehta. But he knew one thing for sure, he would solve everything before being late. He had his plans.

"Sir, I'm not forcing you or anything. I know you are a good person. A man like you can really take good care of my sister. But I'm not pressurising you. I just called you because I thought you needed to know about this." Arun explained.

"Okay, Arun thanks." He ended the call.

But he didn't have time to stop or think about it. He had too much works. So he dialled a number, "So what's the progress about the case, Rajiv Dutt filed?"
