The Lost Bet

"Okay then, it's settled," Barry Jackson said.

"If you can bring in so much business Mr Jackson, that would indeed be incredulous. But how would we manage that much business with the current human resources? We simply don't have that much workforce to handle that load," another old man said.

"Yes, we don't even have offices to handle that much staff, how will you handle that Mr Genius huh?" Marcus continued to mock Barry.

"Alright then," said the bald man. "Can we have the board members raise their hands if they agree to this business proposal."

All the board members enthusiastically raised their hands. "Looks like you have yourself a deal Mr Jackson."

"Wait?" Marcus said, noticing how serious this bet had become, he smirked. "It seems like this bet is one sided. If you fail to deliver what do I get in return?"

'I knew it,' Barry thought. He signalled for Marcus to continue.
