Cruel Passion

The early morning rays illuminated the bedroom through the window. Kate stirred hoping to cling to Alvin but turned out she was touching an empty bed . She sat up yawning then poured a herself some water then proceeded to do her early morning routine.


    Soon she was strolling around the house. Her mom was still asleep so she went looking for him thus found him after searching for some time in the field playing basketball with Louis drenched in sweat which was unlike him. 


      " Morning boys!! Louis missed a shot so he grumbled neglecting her greeting. She giggled walking into the court while Alvin gave her a kiss. 


    " Good morning Kate. How is the baby doing? Louis dropped the basketball. His sullen face turned to that of surprise enveloping her in a hug  


    " Finally, you're having a baby. What kept you so long? Congratulations big sis" he exclaimed rubbing her growing bump. He was really looking forward to having a nephew.
