Prologue

What has she gotten herself into?

Sindhu mentally cursed herself

for the millionth time since she

agreed to the marriage proposal.

She can't believe she agreed to

marry that guy even after she saw the way he looked at her; like she was the last person he wanted to share his life with.

She shouldn't have agreed to

marry him; that's what he said he

wanted. Instead she trusted her

instincts and got herself into this

mess.

How stupid she was to agree to

marry a guy who himself told her

he is in love with his ex-girlfriend

and has no intentions whatsoever in marrying anyone including her. She should have listened to him and told her parents that she didn't like him. Instead she did the opposite and said she was ok with their marriage.

God, how stupid she was!

She tried real hard to give her

thoughts a detour, but like a

magnet they always went back to

him and his words.

Driving through the busy traffic of

Hyderabad on her bike, she finally made her way to her office that she had been working for over two years now.

She can't believe she is resigning

just because he wanted her

to stay at home. He asked her

to resign only to infuriate her

and change her decision in

marriage. Not wanting to give

him the satisfaction, she replied

she always wanted to leave

the job when she got married

as she wanted to be a full timne

house-wife/home maker when in

reality, she wanted to work.

As much as the thought of

entering a love less marriage

scared her, she didn't have an

option now. Praying that he is not

as messed up as Christian Grey,

she walked towards her cubicle

and switched on the system to

apply for resignation.
