The guest.

Smith suddenly woke up from his sleep and took a deep breath. He looked up and saw someone standing near his bed.

He quickly got over and bowed a little.

"Moon God."

"A guest will come soon and you need to help him no matter what."

"I will do as you say." He respectively replied.

The Moon God disappeared from front of him.

Smith watched the time and picked his clothes. The sun was about to rise.

Soon he came out wearing casual clothes and was ready to welcome the unknown guest.

.....

San moved a little bit and tried to find the blanket. It was getting cold inside.

Suddenly she felt the warmth of the blanket on her. She hugged the blanket and soon again drifted to sleep.

Moon God shook his head.

"Stupid wolf."

He again vanished in thin air.

As he reached to his room, he removed his robe ready to take a bath. Before he could remove it, he stopped for a second.

"Why I went to her room?"

He was confused and then he shook his head.

"Whatever, that wolf is annoying."

......

San rubbed her eyes and opened them. She took a deep breath. The smell was familiar to her.

She took another breath. It was light but familiar but she wasn't able to understand where she smelled it.

She closed her eyes and soon fell into sleep again.

That wolf was really stupid.

...

Smith was waiting outside when suddenly he saw a man coming towards the pack. He was injured badly and had wounds all over his body. He was slowly dragging himself towards the pack. Smith ran towards him and supported him.

The man was murmuring something and then he passed out.

Smith mind linked Romeo to quickly come out, who came out in a state like he just woke up.

With the help of Romeo, he took him to pack hospital and that time he realized he wasn't ready to fulfill the duty of the messenger of Moon God.

Even he was informed earlier but he still wasn't able to control the situation on time. Now he had to wait until the man gain consciousness.

He came out of the hospital and walked towards the office of Marcos to inform him everything.

Marcos heard everything and looked at him with that same calm smile.

"You are still not ready, Alpha. You need to work hard. You need to make your people strong." He advised him.

........

Smith was sitting outside while still thinking about the advice of the Old alpha when Ria came near him. She sat beside him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Don't stress too much." She smiled and tried to encourage him.

Smith only looked at her and gave her a nod.

He saw Tina leaving the pack hospital and got up. Tina came near him.

"How's he?"

"His wounds are infected. It looks like he was like this from quite sometime. It's really difficult to treat him in such state."

"You can do this Tina. I believe in you and Jennie."

Tina gave him a nod and then walked towards the building.

...........

San came out of her room and was wondering around to find her friends. The moment she woke up, she was feeling like she missed something. Something important but she was unable to recall it.

She came out of the building and saw Smith who was sitting with a girl. She was looking at them when someone cleared their throat near her. She jumped and turned.

"Ron, stop giving me heart attack." She pouted looking at Ron.

"Smith looks worried and it's perfect time for you to go to him before Ria takes all the points."

"What?" San was confused.

"I am not going to him." She shook her head and tried to run away.

"Be brave." Ron encouraged her and pushed her towards them but San wasn't ready to face Smith.

"San, Ron." Smith saw both of them struggling.

"Hi Smith." San tried to smile.

"Can I talk to you?"

Ron quickly pushed her.

"Yeah, sure." San walked towards him.

Ria excused herself and left them alone.

.......

"So, are you happy after meeting Marcos."

San stopped swinging her feet and looked at Smith who was looking back at her.

She pressed her lips together.

"Yeah, I guess so. He is really nice." She chuckled.

"I am happy, you find your family." Smith smiled back at her.

"Ron said you messed something." San caught the sudden change in his expression.

Smith wasn't ready for this question.

"Yeah, it's just, I thought I was ready to serve Moon God but in reality I messed up the first task given by him. My team wasn't ready and now I feel useless. I thought I can take care of it alone but guess what? I was wrong. He must be really disappointed in me."

San patted his shoulder.

"Don't worry, He is always disappointed in others." San chuckled remembering something.

Smith gave her a confused look who just realized what she said.

"I mean, you are such a nice person, who would be disappointed in you. Don't think too much." She nervously laughed.
