Loving Kate

Two hearts sat in a pew by the roadside hurting but for different reasons. 


    Kate was furious because Alvin dared to justify his reason for killing their son yet she had forgiven him time without number for cheating on her including the ones she witnessed. 


     The temerity of her speech had her picking her phone to make a call. 


    " Yes ma'am? Came a husky voice from the other end of the phone.


     " I want a lawsuit against the nimrod hospital until they provide proof of a death certificate for Simon Reagan" 


    " Yes ma'am. Great choice" came the lawyer's joyful voice like he has been waiting for her to give the order. 


    " Not yet I have a feeling that he'll grant it. I just want to talk to my son. He must have thought I abandoned him'
