Five years of separation

Erin thought she was at a wrong place as she walked down the pavement which led straight to the lake as she was told. It was a little cold at night and to make matters worse, she didn't bring any coat to keep her warm. With light steps she made her way down the couple of stairs minding her steps so as not to trip on anything or miss a step. It was a bit dark if not for the several lights hanging around the place. The flowers and trees at the park were well kept although it was a little creepy at night however in the bright daytime, she knew families gathered at the park to spend time with each other. Even couples who desired some alone time came to the park for a romantic date or picnic. And now she was here looking at the serene waters of the lake. The cold air was blowing as it caressed her skin and Erin found herself hugging her body as her blonde hair was pushed off her face was the wind which made her shiver
